This flat belly sassy water is a refreshing detox drink made with cucumber, lemon, mint, and optional ginger. Easy to make, hydrating, and helps reduce bloating naturally.

Equipment

  • Large pitcher
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Wooden spoon (for bruising mint)

Ingredients
  

  • 10 cups pure water spring or filtered
  • 1 large cucumber sliced thin
  • 8 –10 mint sprigs
  • 1 large lemon sliced into wheels
  • 1 inch fresh ginger sliced thin (optional)
  • Handful of ice
  • Pinch of sea salt optional

Instructions
 

  • Prep Fresh Ingredients: Wash cucumber, lemon, mint, and ginger. Slice cucumber and lemon into thin rounds.
  • Activate Mint: Gently press mint leaves at the bottom of the pitcher with a spoon to release oils.
  • Layer Ingredients: Add cucumber slices, lemon wheels, and ginger slices in order. Add pinch of salt.
  • Add Water and Ice: Pour water slowly into the pitcher, then top with ice.
  • Infuse: Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Taste & Adjust: Add more cucumber or lemon if needed. Dilute with water if too strong.
  • Storage: Keeps 4–5 days in fridge. Strain solids after 3 days to maintain flavor.

Notes

Organic ingredients improve taste.
Room temp water enhances digestion.
Try different variations like Citrus Mint Explosion or Berry Cucumber Cooler for variety.
Make flavored ice cubes with leftover sassy water to avoid waste.
