Ingredients

  • 2 cups low -fat cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  • In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the cottage cheese, marinara sauce, dried oregano, and garlic powder until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a 6-inch oven-safe skillet or a small baking dish.
  • Spread the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the cottage cheese mixture.
  • Arrange the mini pepperoni slices on top of the mozzarella.
  • Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes over the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are bubbling.
  • Optional: Place under the broiler for 1 to 2 minutes to brown the cheese.
  • Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes to set before serving.
