Ingredients

  • 1 cup self -rising flour
  • 1 cup non -fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup low -sodium pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 40 slices turkey pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 large egg , beaten

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine self-rising flour and Greek yogurt until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 2 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  • Roll the dough into a large rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  • Spread pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border on all sides.
  • Evenly distribute mozzarella cheese and turkey pepperoni slices over the sauce.
  • Sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder.
  • Roll the dough tightly into a cylinder starting from the long edge.
  • Slice the cylinder into 12 equal rolls using a sharp knife.
  • Place rolls onto the baking sheet and brush the surfaces with the beaten egg.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  • Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
