Ingredients
  

  • 4 –5 cups water
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves more if stronger flavor desired
  • 2 cups ripe honeydew melon cubed
  • 2 –3 tbsp honey or sugar to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Extra mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prep Mint: Wash the mint leaves thoroughly. Lightly bruise them with the back of a spoon to release essential oils.
  • Make Mint Tea Base: Boil 2 cups of water, then remove from heat. Add mint leaves and steep for 8–10 minutes.
  • Prepare Honeydew: Blend honeydew cubes with 1/2 cup water until smooth. Optional: Strain for a finer texture.
  • Combine: Mix mint tea, honeydew puree, and remaining 2 cups cold water. Add honey while still warm to dissolve.
  • Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  • Serve: Pour over ice, garnish with fresh mint sprigs.

Notes

Use ripe honeydew for maximum flavor and sweetness.
Best consumed within 24 hours for freshness.
Try with lemon or lime for an extra citrus kick.
