High Protein Pepperoni Pizza Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup non -fat Greek yogurt
  • 1.5 cups self -rising flour
  • 1/2 cup low -fat shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 30 slices turkey pepperoni
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup sugar -free marinara sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and self-rising flour until a dough forms.
  • Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  • Roll the dough into a large rectangle, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border.
  • Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  • Layer the turkey pepperoni slices evenly over the cheese.
  • Tightly roll the dough into a log starting from the long edge.
  • Slice the log into 12 even rolls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the dough is golden brown and cheese is melted.
