High Protein Air Fryer Chicken Wraps

Ingredients

  • 500 g boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp sal t
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 4 high -protein whole wheat tortillas
  • 200 g non -fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1 large tomato , diced

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed chicken breast, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the seasoned chicken to the air fryer basket, spreading it in a single layer to ensure even cooking.
  • Air fry at 200°C for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the non-fat Greek yogurt and lemon juice until smooth to create the protein sauce base.
  • Briefly warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 15 seconds.
  • Assemble the wraps by spreading a portion of the yogurt sauce on each tortilla, followed by lettuce, diced tomatoes, and the air-fried chicken.
  • Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll tightly from the bottom to secure.
