Equipment

  • Juicer or Blender
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Strainer (if using blender)
  • Glass or jar

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 green apple
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger
  • 1 cup water if using a blender

Instructions
 

  • Wash all ingredients thoroughly.
  • If using a juicer: Feed all ingredients through the juicer.
  • If using a blender: Add all ingredients with water and blend until smooth.
  • (Optional) Strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth for a smoother juice.
  • Pour into a glass and serve immediately for maximum nutrients.

Notes

Drink fresh within 30 minutes of making for best nutrition.
Can be used to replace 1 light meal, especially breakfast.
Store in an airtight glass jar for up to 24 hours.
