  • Pot or kettle
  • Mesh strainer
  • Mason jar (for storage)

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp cinnamon bark pieces
  • 1 tbsp bitter melon leaves dried
  • 1 tsp gymnema sylvestre
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger or ½ tsp dried ginger
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp loose green tea or decaf
  • Stevia drops or monk fruit to taste
  • Fresh lemon juice optional
  • Mint leaves optional

Instructions

  • Place all dry ingredients into a tea ball or wrap them in cheesecloth.
  • Heat 4 cups of water to around 200°F (do not boil).

  • Strain herbs and add sweetener while tea is still warm.
  • Adjust flavors as needed — more ginger, lemon, or mint depending on taste.
  • Serve warm or refrigerate for up to 3–4 days. Enjoy hot or over ice.

Notes

Make larger batches and store in the fridge for convenience.
Dry herb mix can be pre-portioned and stored in airtight containers.

Customize with optional additions like orange peel, hibiscus, cardamom, or dried pineapple for flavor variations.
