Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
  • 1 ounce dry ranch dressing mix (1 packet)
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely sliced
  • 4 brioche hamburger buns
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, dry ranch seasoning, crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and green onions.
  • Mix the ingredients by hand until just combined, ensuring even distribution without overworking the meat.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties approximately 3/4-inch thick.
  • Preheat a cast-iron skillet or outdoor grill to medium-high heat.
  • Spread the softened butter on the cut sides of the buns and toast them until golden brown, then set aside.
  • Place the patties on the heat source and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Remove the patties from the heat and allow them to rest for 3 minutes before serving on the toasted buns.
