Cottage Cheese Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients

  • 16 oz low -fat cottage cheese
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  • Place the cottage cheese in a high-speed blender or food processor and blend until completely smooth.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the blended cottage cheese, buffalo hot sauce, and ranch seasoning mix until fully incorporated.
  • Fold the shredded chicken breast into the buffalo cottage cheese mixture until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the mixture to an 8x8 inch oven-safe baking dish and spread into an even layer.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the mixture.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until the dip is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbling at the edges.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
