Burger Bowls with Special Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (90% lean)
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion , thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle chips
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnais e
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp sugar -free ketchup
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, approximately 8-10 minutes.
  • Season the cooked beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder; drain excess fat and set aside.
  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, yellow mustard, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, and smoked paprika until smooth.
  • Arrange 1 cup of chopped romaine lettuce in each of four serving bowls.
  • Top the lettuce in each bowl with equal portions of the seasoned ground beef.
  • Distribute cherry tomatoes, red onion slices, and dill pickle chips evenly among the bowls.
  • Garnish each bowl with 2 tablespoons of shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Drizzle the prepared special sauce over each bowl immediately before serving.
