  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Make sure they are very ripe for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup self-rising flour Can substitute with all-purpose flour plus 1 teaspoon of baking powder.

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  • Add the self-rising flour to the mashed bananas and mix until combined.
  • Scoop the mixture and form small balls (donut holes).
  • Place the donut holes in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching.
  • Air fry for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These donut holes are great on their own or can be dusted with powdered sugar, served with ice cream, fresh fruit, or yogurt. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days or freeze in a freezer-safe bag for up to a month.
