Ingredients
  

For the Fajita Seasoning

  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

For the Fajitas

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced into ½-inch strips
  • 2 pieces bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, sugar, garlic powder, and onion powder to make the spice mix.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 380 °F.
  • In a large bowl, mix the sliced chicken, bell peppers, onion, olive oil, and the fajita seasoning until everything is evenly coated.

Cooking

  • Transfer the mixture to the air fryer basket, spreading it out in an even layer.
  • Cook for 15 minutes, tossing halfway through, and ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 °F before serving.

Serving

  • Place the chicken and veggies in your tortillas and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

Store any extra fajitas in a sealed container in the refrigerator for about 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to maintain crispiness. You can substitute the chicken with beef or shrimp, and try adding other veggies for variety.
