Equipment

  • Equipment:
  • Clear glass mug (8-10 oz capacity)
  • Small spoon for mixing
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting board
  • Measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 8 oz ice-cold filtered water
  • 1 tablespoon raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar with "the mother"
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch pink Himalayan salt
  • 3-4 ice cubes if water isn't cold enough

Instructions

  • Fill your glass mug with ice-cold water, leaving about an inch at the top. The water should be cold enough that it feels shocking when you drink it.
  • Add the apple cider vinegar and immediately stir vigorously for exactly 7 seconds to ensure proper mixing without over-diluting the beneficial compounds.
  • Add the lemon juice, cinnamon, and salt. Stir gently for another few seconds until the cinnamon is well distributed.
  • Drink it immediately while it's still very cold. Finish within 5 minutes of making it for maximum effectiveness.
  • Follow with at least 4 oz of plain water to protect your tooth enamel.

Notes

Start with half the apple cider vinegar if you have a sensitive stomach and gradually increase over 2 weeks. Best consumed 20-30 minutes before breakfast on a relatively empty stomach. Cannot be stored - must be consumed fresh for maximum effectiveness. If too cold initially, start with cool water and gradually decrease temperature over 10 days. Add a tiny pinch of stevia or monk fruit if the taste is too strong. Pregnant women and those on medications should consult healthcare providers before use. For sensitive stomachs, try sipping over 2-3 minutes instead of drinking quickly.
